A Seafood Experience to Savour: Copywriting

Published in February 2011 by ouffer.com and sold 919 copies within 24 hours

We’ve come up with yet another oppor-tuna-ty you just can’t afford to miss! Stone Bar Seafood Brasserie is offering a selection of appetising cuisine, a complementing drink, stunning views of the Parramatta River and the most obliging staff in the restaurant industry! That’s right folks, today’s Ouffer is of-fish-ially awesome: combining a seafood tapas selection for 2, a bottle of wine and 2 deserts – all for the fin-omenonal price of $35 (usually $109).

Located at the end of Bowden Street opposite the Ferry Wharf in Meadowbank, Stonebar is unique in the area. It brings new life to a restaurant scene that has a distinct lack of breezy seafood focused venues. Famed for beautifully presented dishes, good reviews, open river views and fresh flavours, this Ouffer really is Cod’s gift to those of you fishing for somewhere new, (if you catch our drift).

And with a saving of $74, what’s not to like?!

So while you (sea)weed through all the puns, we’re sure you must be wondering exactly what delicacies you’ll have the chance to feast upon. The seafood tapas for two in-carp-orates a healthy serving of baby salt and pepper calamari; beautiful fresh steamed mussels in a chilli and garlic Napolitano sauce; BBQ baby octopus with a sweet chilli, herb and olive oil dressing; and delicious fresh pita bread and dip. Added to this is a choice of cabernet sauvignon or sauvignon blanc Stonefish wine, and to round out the meal, you and your friend can each choose a dessert from the daily range of specialties!

You’ll leave with the sea breeze in your hair, fresh food in your tummy… and as content as a flying fish in zero gravity! And don’t be shellfish. Add a sprinkle of good company to the mix and you couldn’t have anything other than a whale of a time!
